		<description>It&#039;s hard to imagine SONY as an also ran after decades of innovation and leadership, but here we are.  Plant closings and layoffs must be a tremendous culture shock and probably more impactful than the financial hits.  

Interestingly, several months ago, their CEO said that accessories (power cords, connectors, etc) for products was their only high profit business.  I think we can all relate as standardization is unheard of in this area.  

I wish them luck.  I think we all trust and admire SONY, now we need to see a return to innovation and efficiency.</description>
